Looks like we’ll be arriving in the area Thursday afternoon … I couldn’t find a local decent campground to rest for the night, so, you will find us at the Kmart parking lot on Tilghman across from Josh Early … sometime around 2PMish ?? If you’re available, stop by … we’d love to see you !! We will be leaving at 3:30PM to go to the next campground.
Time to get back to plotting our journey south ! Thanks to Mary & Ann for two very valuable tools that assist me (see pic) !! The road atlas & the GoodSam book are must haves when traveling ! I found that access to the internet is not something that can be relied on when camping, but current paper maps are!
It’s not an easy task to plot our journey ! I have to take into consideration the weather, highway construction, availability of diesel stations, the height of Bertha in relation to overpasses & tunnels & bridges & gas stations, whether or not a campground accepts tiny houses and if they do, the accessibility of a big rig at a campground. And, believe it or not, some campgrounds don’t allow dogs! 🤔😩. Plotting is a fun challenge though, I consider it HOMEwork !! 😃
