My friend & ex-neighbor Liz sent me a sweet text at 6:23am … it read ‘Good Morning’ with a pic of the temperature on her car dashboard! 😂😱🥶 Sorry Liz … today the real feel here was 95 degrees!

That reminds me … DST ends soon … we turn the clocks back on 11/3! Aarrgghh 😤!!

Since I’ve been traveling, my entertainment has been a tiny FM radio … I have not watched TV for approx 12 weeks … until today !! I was going to hire someone to drill & run the cable through the side of the house, until I spoke to a couple neighbors today who told me I could borrow the cable & box at no charge from the campground general store. I immediately went there, they gave me what I needed, I hooked everything up, ran a flat co-axial through the window & Voilà … I finally have TV 😃 !!!! A third are Disney channels, but that’s ok … Sadie enjoys watching cartoons !!

My location is perfect for seeing and hearing the nightly fireworks 💥. Most of you know that Disney sets off a fireworks display every night, sometimes twice! Usually at 9pm, sometimes again at 10pm … the other night they went off again at 11pm because of a private party. Well, this morning we were awakened by fireworks at 6:15 that lasted for a very loud 15 minutes! Lots of red & green bursts … Apparently they were testing the Christmas display! 🎄🤦🏻‍♀️ … unfortunately no pics … my phone takes lousy distance pics in the dark!

P.S. That Minnie sitting in my loft is old … I’ve had her for many years … Hurting my brain trying to remember when I got her or where she came from ? 🤷🏻‍♀️ No clue!!

Right now as I type our blog there are kids playing & screaming outside in the dark!! 🤨

It’s almost Nov., but, it feels more like June here in central FL !! Today was absolutely gorgeous! High of 83 and no humidity! Sadie loved being outside this afternoon, in fact, she enjoyed watching a turkey hang out at our site for 10 minutes until I beeped the golf cart horn & it took off cackling all the way! 🤣

It was a perfect morning to visit Disney Springs! I arrived at 10:15 and began my shopping at World of Disney. Bought ANOTHER Mickey t-shirt & Mickey socks & a colorful Mickey ears purse! Then I just window shopped until my stomach decided to shop for a restaurant!

Back to the resort … This campground has a horse ranch where you can saddle up and ride the trails that surround the 750 acre resort. The ranch also offers horse drawn carriage or wagon rides. The horse photos below are for Elizabeth Weed to enjoy !! 👍😃

After dinner I had a hankering for ice cream, so I headed to the camp store where I purchased a Mickey ice cream bar … can you believe I paid $5.69 for 4 ounces of ice cream! For that price, I would expect Mickey to feed it to me!! Geezzzzz !!

Below is a list of 2 day Halloween events here at the resort. Shhhhhh … don’t tell Sadie that I signed her up to participate in the Costume Doggie Parade!! 🐶👻🎃 Her costume is the last pic.

If you read yesterday’s blog, I mentioned that trick or treat is a 3 hour event here at the campground. If I participated as a site stop, I was told I would need approx 800 treats to hand out to the munchkins (that don’t go to school)! 😂. So … I went shopping today & I am now prepared to hand out 1,100 treats!! Sadie & I will be waiting for the goblins in costume. Halloween … bring it on!!!! 👻🎃☠️

Lori picked me up this afternoon to introduce me to a very unique & trendy “town” called Celebration … it is a master planned community founded by the Walt Disney Company, (see pics to learn more).

First we stopped at this amazing Spanish restaurant called Columbia, the food was made to order & incredibly delicious! The Sangria was made table-side with sparkling wine, brandy, orange liqueur & loads of ice & citrus, it was definitely refreshing! The gazpacho was deliciously cool, made from fresh farm tomatoes & cucumbers … I wanted more! The ensalada was also made table-side with fresh ingredients including crisp lettuce, julienned baked ham & Swiss cheese, tomatoes, olives, Romano cheese & a secret garlic infused dressing ! Then we each ordered an appetizer as our entree! I give this place a 5 star rating. I definitely will be back !!

We toured the lake area, saw a baby alligator, visited Wolfgang Puck’s Dog Bakery (bought some homemade biscuits for Miss Sadie), then stopped at Kilwins for some incredible toasted coconut ice cream!

On the way back Lori pointed out a transmission line in the shape of Mickey Mouse ears ! Well, we are in Disney!! 😂

During our walks today, Sadie was afraid of this inflatable animated cat in the last pic. 🤣

I just found out trick or treat at the campground is a 3 hour event & I need to buy 800 !!!! items to give out to the kids (who don’t go to school) !!!! 😳😱👻☠️🎃

Disney property survived Tropical Cyclone Nestor unscathed. We did, however, experience 14 hours of much needed rain!

Lori & I never made it to Disney Springs yesterday because the campground, at the last minute, scheduled me to relocate to a new site. That move became more than a half day event waiting on them to clear me and prepping the house to travel 1 mile. I am, however, loving my new 30′ x 60′ spacious pad & privacy!

My tiny house has traveled 3,000 miles at approx 60 miles per hour & every piece of wood, siding, metal roofing, window & every screw are still intact! I am very pleased with how well built this house is.

We’ve been here 2 weeks. Seen hundreds of kids, can someone tell me why they aren’t at home in school? 🤷🏻‍♀️ A few folks told me they were on fall break, but, I think that should be over by now? Asking for a friend 🤣

Want to come visit but you don’t have an RV and don’t want to rough it in a tent, but you want to stay in a woodsy setting ? No problem, Disney has approx 60 treehouse villas & over 300 cabins! The treehouse villas are really cool and stand 10 feet off the ground, but come with a hefty price tag … $903 per night 😳 sleeps 9 so you can certainly split the bill ! The cabins are $356 per night and sleep 6. See attached pics.

The other day I took Sadie to the vet to have her nails trimmed because they needed it and she will not let me touch her paws. While we were there, the vet gave her a mini checkup & told me she has a fairly apparent heart murmur, (her previous vet never mentioned this). She told me I need to pay attention to worsening symptoms that include a hacking cough, weakness or exercise intolerance. Thankful, that at the moment, Sadie is not regularly exhibiting any of these symptoms. This vet thinks Sadie is approx 10 years old. Long live Miss Sadie !!!! 🐶🐾

There is so much to see & do in & around Orlando … Sea World, Universal, Medieval Times, the HolyLand Experience, iFly indoor skydiving, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, ATV off-road experience, hot air ballon rides, etc …

I got my flu shot yesterday. Now the color of my hair matches my bandaid ! 🤣

Greetings everyone!! Sadie & I are having a blast! This place is indeed magical! So much to see & do & so many people! I’ve determined that no one works (except for the hard working Disney cast members) & kids don’t go to school 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣!

It had been at least 2.5 months since I had a haircut & color, so I made an appt at one of the Disney salons. Well … my stylist gave me a nice cut, as for the color … my hair is, well, shall I say it’s no longer brown … it’s cherry cola ! 😳 No, I did not want this color, in fact, my previous stylist that I had seen for years gave me her formula & I gave it to this new person, and I’m not sure how the new stylist messed up but she did! When I returned home I washed my hair 7 times & now my hair color is auburn with occasional red highlights! Thankful I have 7 hats to wear for the next few weeks! 🤣

I do have great news though! Sadie & I WON the Liberation tiny house Facebook photo contest! After I receive the gift card, Sadie will enjoy her shopping spree at Petco!! Thanks so much to everyone who went to Facebook & voted for us! We definitely feel the love! Thanks to Lori Wagner for posting the contest on her Facebook & for counting votes every day!

Today I visited Magic Kingdom! Went on a few rides including the Haunted Mansion. Had brunch at the Be Our Guest restaurant. Bought a Mickey & Minnie Christmas ornament.

Added a sunrise photo on my boat trip to the park this morning !!

Sadie loves golf cart rides so much that she actually walks over to it & jumps onto it!

Sadie wasn’t thrilled about getting a bath this morning, but quickly forgot about it when I took her on her 1st of 5 walks today & a very long ride on the golf cart … however she wasn’t happy about having to wear the Minnie ears during the ride & walks, but quickly got over it when lots of folks gave her plenty of loving attention !!

Sadie has a new hobby … chasing lizards 🦎😳🤣!

Forgot to mention while taking Sadie for her last walk of the evening 2 nights ago, a Tom turkey decided to aggressively come towards Sadie & wouldn’t back off until I yelled at it & a neighbor camper intervened with their golf cart ! Just some minor drama to end the day! 🦃😱 We now know to keep a safe distance!

Folks really go all out with Halloween decorations on their site & golf carts … lots of skeletons driving RVs & golf carts around the resort (just a few examples below) !👻☠️🎃

Today Sadie & I spent the day with the Wagners. While Sadie & their dog Carlos had their own adventure in their home, Lori, Mike, Ben & I went on a 90 minute air boat ride !

It was a gorgeous sunny day to enjoy the beauty of nature and soak up some Vitamin D !! We zoomed around an Everglades area of Lake Tohopekaliga and saw incredible cypress trees, alligators, lost cows and all types of amazing birds ! I even managed to take an alligator selfie !! Another adventure to check off ✅ my bucket list !!
