Let me introduce you to an awesome group of neighborhood women who formed a friendship because we share a common love for our dogs. Our bond started when we began seeing each other walking with our dogs, then we began walking together. Friendships began to form & we named our group the Dog Squad ! Lori thought it would be fun for us all to go out to dinner every few weeks and since Lori has connections, we started hitting the Lehigh Valley country club circuit. All 5 of us piled into a vehicle & treated ourselves to a fancy & fun ‘girls night out’ ! Sadie will definitely miss her canine friends !! A couple nights ago we went out for our last meal as a group of 5, but I gave them a mini-me to take with them on their next dinner outing ! 😂 How blessed I am to have friendships that make saying goodbye so hard ! Sadie has a boyfriend ! Everyone say hello to Ace, direct from Arizona !! Ace’s parents, Sue & John visited recently & brought along their newest addition ( isn’t he adorable ) !! Sadie was quite smitten with Ace !! They played in the yard & she actually looked for him after they left. Sadie may need a travel companion – YIKES ! Did I really just say that ??!! 😳Hhhmmm I need to think about this a bit ! 🐾🐾

One quick post to highlight THE BEST massage therapist in the Greater Lehigh Valley !! While Sadie slept in this morning, I had my last 😭 1.5 hour Himalayan salt stone massage & berry/lemongrass exfoliating foot scrub with Yentl at Hand & Stone in the Hamilton Crossings. Having been a massage therapist myself, (I trained at Kripalu Institute in Stockbridge MA and at The Shiatsu Center in Northampton), plus I have been receiving massages for over 25 years, I definitely can identify a superior therapist, Yentl is that person ! She is knowledgeable, friendly & professional. She has worked out kinks & stress in places that I didn’t know had issues !! Because she is the best in the business, she is very popular and it’s sometimes difficult to book her, but, if you need relief from aches & pains, I HIGHLY recommend that you make an appointment with her !! It’s truly amazing how awesome my plans have fallen into place. I learned that patience is the key to ensuring that your plans work out with a positive ending. For those of you that have expressed concern with me driving Bertha (my F250) & towing my tiny house, I have great news ! My wonderful neighbors, (Sadie affectionately refer to them as Uncle John & Aunt Nancy) were very worried, recently while John was at the gym doing therapy after his knee surgery, he met a woman, LuAnn, who also had knee surgery and while they were chatting he found out that she drove semi’s for a living ! He hooked us up, we met and she has agreed to give me driving lessons before I take to the road by myself ! Amazing how two strangers knee surgeries and being at the gym at the same time, developed into a friendship that was able to also help me ! Special thanks to John, Nancy & LuAnn !! As for other details … my old home settlement is in a few weeks !! And … to ensure that Bertha is running properly and her fluids are topped off, she is scheduled for a check up next week. My old home is very empty and I am almost done decorating and filling my new home … I found that I can’t take everything I originally planned to, so, downsizing has been quite emotional as I have had to let go of stuff that was important to me, but, I keep reminding myself that less is more ! Sadie loves her new home & her couch and she can’t wait to hit the road and begin our adventures ! My next post will be a video of my driving lessons ! Special message from Sadie: “Shoutout to Leader of the Pack Canine Institute !! Today is my last day visiting doggie daycare. 😢 I grew fond of all the amazing staff that took such great care of me for the past year when Mommy had to go to work or run errands or when she had to drive to Lancaster to check on the progress of our new tiny dog house ! I loved playing with other puppers smaller than me ! I especially enjoyed when I had a spa day & Aunt Lois gave me an oatmeal bath & a pawicure !! It has been quite the whirlwind since my home arrived 6 days ago ! My home has had approximately 150 visitors since its arrival & even strangers driving past it slow down, do a double take & take photos ! Everything is falling into place as I have interested buyers without even putting my old home on the market ! If all goes well, Sadie & I will be heading north mid July ! First stops are Finger Lakes & Niagara Falls ! Sadie loves her new home ! I am truly blessed & grateful !! Enjoy the pics ! Donna & Sadie 🐾

After 2 months of design meetings & 2 months of construction and with 1 hour left of daylight, I patiently awaited the arrival of my tiny home. As you might have guessed, I cried when I saw it round the corner of my street. It was surreal to have a 4 year dream come true. My neighbors lined the street as if they were watching a parade. Sadie was in my other home unaware of what was happening. I made sure the inside of the tiny home

weathered the 1.5 hour trip then I locked it up for the night. I was so excited & didn’t sleep but a couple hours waiting for the morning to arrive so I could disinfect 😂 & start decorating. This morning I also introduced Sadie to her new digs. She said, Mom, thanks for building me my very own giant dog house !! LOL !! Here’s a few pics & a video … Enjoy !! 🏠😃
